Once I program the keys, how can I change a macro while I’m in a game or any other program? Do I have to open Ergodex Manager every time?
You do not have to open Ergodex Manager. There is a Record button on the DX1 pad, which lets you record macros “on the fly”. You start by pressing the Record button, then, press the keys on the keyboard that comprise the macro, and then, press a DX1 key on the DX1 pad. This will capture your keystrokes, save them to a newly created macro (through Ergodex Manager) and assign the macro to the DX1 key. You can later go back and edit this macro in Ergodex Manager. There is no limit on how many times you can record a macro over a DX1 key. Each time you record a sequence of keystrokes, a new macro is created, and assigned to the DX1 key; the prior macro is then unassigned, but remains in the collection of macros (the profile) within Ergodex Manager, for future use.
